Discover our region

Every part of the Eyre Peninsula has its own unique vibe.

Visit Eastern Eyre with its relaxed seaside towns, steel history and scenic country vistas. This is where you can hike to the highest point in the region, and swim with cuttlefish.

Discover Southern Eyre – including the jewel in the crown that is Port Lincoln, Coffin Bay's world-class oysters, incredible artworks, shark-cage diving, popular coastal camps, and delicious seafood. Find craft distilleries, wineries and breweries before heading inland to drive through fields of canola.

The wild West Coast, with its rugged cliffs, surf beaches, peaceful bays and great fishing, is the place for a real-life sea change. Explore some of the region’s favourite spots and swim with sea lions and dolphins in Baird Bay.

Go even further to the Far West and the Nullarbor, where the jaw-dropping Bunda Cliffs and isolated landscape of the Nullarbor, the ‘treeless plain’, are just part of the story. Whale watching, pink lakes, giant windmills, rockpools, oysters and remote fishing make up the other parts.

Heading inland, Central Eyre Peninsula and the Gawler Ranges are a taste of the outback – climb ancient granite outcrops, spot numerous wildlife, feel vast salt lakes crunch underfoot and sleep under canopies of stars.

All of this, and friendly small towns to go with it.
