Baird Bay

Swimming with the Sea Lions and dolphins on an organised tour at the small community of Baird Bay is a must do holiday experience for travellers to South Australia.

This protected 3,800ha bay, named after the pioneering sheep grazier James Baird, forms the western part of the much larger Anxious Bay and is teeming with marine wildlife.  Anglers are rarely disappointed, with handy launching facilities guaranteeing a good day’s fishing.

Accommodation ranges from upmarket resort style villas to a camping ground.
